I, too, am a photographer who loves the swamps of Louisiana, mainly Honey Island Swamp. One day, I'd love to go to the Everglades. I maneuver through the swamps in my ol' trusty canoe. When I'm out there, I feel a Oneness with nature, like no harm is going to come to me. Most of the time, I go alone, going deep into the wilderness whereby I can truly get the fullness and more, for there is so much to see and experience. Needless to say, I always have my Nikon F2 with me. Photos don't really do justice to capturing the essence of the swamps, but that's the best we can do in our efforts to share with those who may never get the chance to go and see for themselves.
